For You

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

I'm afraid my card making get-up-and-go, got up and left and is now only just slowly returning, so not a lot of cards been made lately.

I've had  this Tilda coloured for quite a while and decided it was high time she was put on a card.
She was coloured with copics.
The Spellbinders label used was #4.
The large flower was made with Spellbinders Rose Creations.
The pink flowers were made from the StampinUp's Boho Blossoms punch.
The Marianne Craftable Circle Die was used behind the Labels 4.
The border punch is the Martha Stewart Doily Lace
and the papers are from two different Kaisercraft Paper Pads, Blae Ivy (Blue) and Miss Nelly (pink).
This card will be making its way to someone very special soon.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today.

Knitting for a new baby

When my sister in law took me on my once in a life time trip to Europe, over two years ago now, I had the opportunity to go back to Harderwijk (the town in Holland I was born in), and meet family I hadn't seen since leaving in 1961 and also meeting new members of the family I had never met.
One of those new members is a cousin who has just had her first baby.
So out came my knitting needles and below is what I made for her, the yarn is Chenille and knits up beautifully.

The pram was coloured in with a pastel pencil and blended with a paper stump.
I used the same buttons for the prams wheels as for the shoulders of the little overalls.
The roses were made with a medium retro flower punch.

Thank you for taking the time to visit today.

Framed Cross stitch

Hi Everyone,

Here is my cross stitch in Kathy's beautiful carved Frame.
The frame has carved gum nuts on it to continue on with the Australian Flowers Theme.

Australian Flowers Cross Stitch

Hello Everyone,

I'm back home after being away for almost three weeks visiting our children and grand children.
It was wonderful to be able to go to the grand children's end of year presentations, graduations and concerts.

But this means I have no new cards to show, although I did manage to finish this cross stitch I have been working on for my sister in law Kathy.
Kathy has made a beautiful oval frame at her wood carving class for this to go into and its now at the framers waiting to be put in.

Thank you for taking the time to visit .
