One folder two cards

Hello, I'm back with two more cards for FatCats Card Corner.
They were both made with the Anja's Flower Marianne Designable DS0915.

For this one I cut and embossed the folder in my cuttlebug first on white card stock and then on the pink, for the pink Layer I cut with scissors around the scalloped edge and layered it over the white layer.
I then cut the Marianne Craftable Basket Die 1207  from the same white card stock, then gave it a bit of shaping so that it didn't sit flat on the card, filled it with some hand made roses and lastly added the Marianne Creatable Bird on a Branch.

For this sample I made a gatefold card and used the Anja's Flower Marianne Designable on the two front flaps, I threaded ribbon through the two central die cut holes to keep it closed.

The flowers were made with the Marianne Craftable Circle die using the flower dies that came with it.
The leaves are also Marianne Creatable Dies, which Kaaren must be out of stock.

Thank you so much for visiting today

Purple Cows

Kaaren has in store the new filigree punch from Purple Cows. Align paper in different configurations to create many patterns from the one punch
and let me tell you they are very, very addictive.
Below are three different cards I made with the one punch Solstice.

Other products I used was the Cheery Lynn large Rose Flower Die
Joy Crafts Baby Pram (seems to be out of stock)

Happy Birthday

Here's another little scene card made with dies available at FATCATSs Card Corner

The background is from the Hey Birdie Collection paper pad from Kaisercraft and I just built on that.
Tilda is Tilda with Hawaiian Flower and I coloured her with copics.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Book Folding

Hello Everyone,

I have been a little consumed  this past week with Old Book Folding, my little samples are very simple to do, there are some very amazing artists out there who make much more complicated works.

And this is a book page Wreath I made with a little help from Laddie, he made the squashed cones.

After having it hanging on the wall for over a day I was walking past it yesterday and noticed one of the cones was back to front, I have also rolled my cones too tight I think, but I'm reasonably happy with it.

I got the instructions for this from Jenna de Angeles. She has both a video and PDF instructions to download.

40th Anniversary

Hi,

I needed to make a 40th Wedding Anniversary card so I though I would enter it into the challenge over at Joanna Sheen's Challenge Blog where the challenge is "Love is in the air".

The silver paper I used to cut the frame and hearts has photographed a rather dull grey it is much prettier in real life.
The frame was cut with the Martha Stewart Punch around the page punch set Eyelet Lace.
The heart was cut with a Spellbinders die and the numbers with a Fiskars Template.
I had to use a peel off for the sentiment as I didn't have an appropriate stamp.

Thank you for taking the time to visit today.

These Boots were..........

...........made for walking but I'm not sure I could walk in those heels.............  :)

Hi Everyone.

I decided to go back to where I started with card making with this card which was Paper Embroidery.

I got some new Bookmark stitching patterns from Stitching Cards.com and decided to use the boot pattern twice on a card front instead of as a bookmark.
I didn't really like the pattern of the inside of the boots so just stitched the outside with a glitter metallic thread, I don't know why I chose that thread because I really don't enjoy stitching with it...........oh wait, yes I do it was the only brown colour thread I had that matched, and then I paper pieced the inside with some rather fancy double sided wrapping paper I picked up on special somewhere a while ago.
Some hand made flowers and a couple of ribbons and it was all placed on a mat made with the Martha Stewart Cherish Combo punch set.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and leaving a comment I love hearing from you.
