Allietare quilt top is finished,
I have no idea how I am going to baste it as its quite large @ 205 cm x 245 cm and I don't have a floor space big enough to do it on, I could take it over to my daughter Kathy's house and do it there, but it's also the crawling around on the floor to do it that concerns me, I am already quite sore from basting a much smaller one yesterday, maybe I can get my two beautiful granddaughters to help me if I get myself organised before they go back to school and university.

Bonnie does such amazing work with scraps and is so very generous with the things she shares.
I also love how she loves her vintage machines and uses them.
I have a collection of 4 Vintage Singers, that I have managed to clean up and get back to sewing beautiful stitches.
I don't have a huge fabric stash so my scrap bins don't have a huge variety in them and I did want to try and do this mystery without having to go shopping, I found I didn't have enough of my constant grey colour early on and just hoped it wouldn't make too much of a difference in the quilt.
Clues one to three.
All the clues ready and waiting to be put together, trying desperately to find time to do that.
putting the blocks together, halfway there .

A couple of the men in my life had birthdays last month, my son and one of my son in laws, so had to make those hard to come up with ideas type of cards, cards for men.
Our son is a guitarist so I paper pieced him a guitar, I downloaded a guitar image from the internet and got my shapes from that a couple of die cuts and my card was done.
For our son in law I inked up the background cut it apart and stuck it to the cork coloured paper, I also cut the ute and trees from the same paper after sticking it to some card stock, inked the edges and added them with some dimensional tape.
