Card for a dog lover

Our grand daughter Tazman loves her dogs and, so I thought it appropriate to make her a Birthday card with a dog on it.

I used one of the dogs from Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs Stamp set and coloured it with copics.
The colours I used were:

Dog E35 - E33- Y23     Nose C7-C5-C3
Tongue R24 - R-22        Ears R20    Collar V17-V06.

The background I created by using a piece of sequin waste as a stencil and sponged through some Pink Thistle Opal Polish by Creative Expressions.

Snugglepot and Cuddlepie

Kaaren from Fat Cats Card Corner sent me this cute Snugglepot and Cuddlepie cling stamp from Paper Roses.
I've coloured them with copics and hand drawn a leaf for them to be sitting on.
The Sue Wilson Ocean Waves Pinpoint embossing folder looked like the leaves and wattle from a Wattle tree so added some colour to the raised embossed bits also using copics.
I also used the Sue Wilson Scalloped Lattice Frame die set.

And here is a version of the cute stamp done in Christmas Colours again using copics to colour.
The Sue Wilson Ocean Waves Pinpoint embossing folder was used again and the lovely border die they are sitting on is the Paper Roses Madison Lace Edge die.
Happy Christmas die is from Cheery Lynn.

again as well as the Paper Roses Madison Lace Edge die.
the Flowers are Sue Wilson Striped Nasturtiums and the With Sympathy die is from the Crafters Companion Die'sire range.

More Orchids

There isn't  much crafting going on here as we are in the process of moving, from a rather roomy two bedroom unit into a very small two bedroom unit.
It's going to be a bit of a challenge fitting my sewing set up and my craft room into one small bedroom but it's a challenge I'm up for.

In the meantime here are two more orchid cards I made a while back, one for a sister in laws 60th birthday and the other for our youngest daughters birthday.

And then there was this gold fish slider card I made for our great grandsons 2nd birthday.

Friends

The group I belong to Penny Flowers Craft and Chat
had a card swap with a friendship Theme,
the criteria was, make a card with something that points to the meaning of FRIENDSHIP..

This is the card I made for my swap partner... good friends are like a comfy pair of PJ'S.

The stamp is Art Impressions "Girlfriends" which I coloured with copics.

The dies I used are the:
Poppy Stamps - Grand Madison French Doors
Marianne Creatables - Chair and Lamp
Cheery Lynn - Flourish leaf strip
Impression Obsession - Tiny Flowers
Impression Obsession - Layered Floral set
Memory Box - Typewriter - Uppercase.

A Baby and a Droid (Card)

I had a request for a baby card, sex of baby not known, which makes it difficult to come up with a colour scheme to use, the last one I did for the same lady I did in lemon so my choice this time was lavender.
I used a Nellie Snellen pontura card from which I cut the front and layered it onto the lavender card, white, lavender and finally the white card base.
The welcome banner is a Joy Crafts Die, the little flowers are from the mini EK Success Retro Flower Punch.

The next card request was for either a Star Wars or Ninja theme, I went for Star Wars and found an R2D2 colouring image on the internet which I coloured with my copics, I added some balloons cut with a free die that came with a craft magazine, the background is the Couture Creations Entangle embossing folder.

Thank you for looking.

February cards.

I managed to make quite a few cards in February, there were a number of family birthdays, and Kaaren needed quite a few cards made for a craft show she was attending this weekend in Sydney.

The first one below was for my sisters 60th Birthday.

The dies I used were the Marianne Creatables Star XL and  Anja's Vintage Frame.
Flowers were made from the Cheery Lynn Gardenia Strip

This was a card for my youngest brother, I created the background with some distress inks and water
The bird is from Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamp Set.
Happy Birthday is Spellbinders Sentiments 3

For this very simple card I have used the feather stencil from the Bo Bunny Whimsy Stencil set, stenciling the feathers with ink.
I used one of the dies from the SW Australian Background to emboss the rectangle, the Happy Birthday is Spellbinders Sentiments 3.
A few random placed dots with Liquid pearls and some crystal adhesive gemstones coloured black with a marker.

This time I used molding paste on black card with the Bo Bunny feather stencil then added some glittery colour, and hand cut them out.
Sue Wilson Australian Background pieces also used.

I created the background on this card with the Bo Bunny Whimsy Stencil set, I first inked it with one pink ink rotated the stencil then added another pink ink.
Sue Wilson Australian Background
Cheery Lynn Paris Eiffel Tower die set
Cheery Lynn Chrysanthemum
Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaves
also used
Crystal Adhesive Gemstones

This one and the next few are cards I made for the ladies at my Hairdressers
One of the ladies daughters loved peacocks so I bought the Peacock Digital stamp from Make It Crafty, and coloured it with copics.

I created the background using the crayon resist technique using Distress ink pads.
The butterflies are Cheery Lynn's Exotic Butterflies Small.

Next was a baby card with a request for a pram with some birds.
the frame and birds are from the Marianne Creatables Petra's Birds Die Set
Pram is Joy Crafts
Leaves are Cheery Lynn Flourish Leaf Strip

Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Tilda With many hearts coloured with copics
Spellbinders Floral Ovals
Martha Stewart Butterfly and Fir Branch Punches
