Wheelbarrow of flowers

Hello again, for this card I have been playing with the Martha Stewart doily punch, the idea for the lace around the circle I got from the very talented Norma. I then needed some tiny flowers to put into my wheelbarrow so I made some small simple flowers and cut a small slit into the barrow to poke the stems of the flowers through to the back, I coloured the wheelbarrow with  copic markers.

For this card I inked up my Argyle cuddlebug folder with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then placing my piece of biege cardstock right side against the ink before running it through my cuttlebug. I then stamped some swirls with gold ink onto some black paper which I cut into strips to use for the horses mane area. I had been wanting to do some more iris folding on my cards and with Father's Day coming up it seemed like a good enough reason.

I thought I would share with you two of my cards featuring a decorative pin, they are such a lot of fun to put together, and they needn't cost you a lot of money to buy the bits and pieces needed to make them.
My ever generous friend Angie sent me some bits to get me started which also helped me to look out for the things I needed to buy.

This is a card I made for my sister in law, I used a photo of her house as the background after adding a couple of extra trees with Paint Shop and used the Martha steward deep border punch Garden Trellis for the fence.

This card features some more of the Penny's Pride flowers. The butterfly is a sizzix die that I ran through an embossing folder after cutting it out.The frame and the tag are spellbinder die cuts that were gifted to me and all of it is layered onto some gorgeous quilted card stock.

Gorjuss Girl

I just adore these little girls, they are from the very talented Suzanne Woolcott,  and I have coloured this one (Guardian angel) with Prisma pencils and OMS.
The flowers I made, and are Penny's Pride by Angie, and I have placed them all onto a strip of a Martha Stewart punch.

Revisiting an old technique

I needed a card for a male friend, something I always have trouble coming up with ideas for, so I decided to keep it fairly simple by revisiting an older technique of 3D or decoupage.
I just sponged some ink around the white layer and cut a frame to fit over the 3D layer.

Card with Beads

Here's a card I have made for a "Card with Beads" swap, I resized the stitching pattern to make it smaller, which meant I had to find beads small enough to fit and luckily I had these that I had  purchased last year while in Berlin.
