Gorjuss Girl

Hi,
Do you sometimes go....I wish I hadn't added that.........well I did, with those corners, I thought they looked alright when I placed them before gluing them, but now that they are stuck fast I don't like them, but they're there now so onto the rest of my card.
The Gorjuss Girl was stamped with Memento black ink onto X-press it card and coloured with copics.
I have framed her with the Dots Frame Crafts Too Embossing Folder and added some punched leaves and tiny punched flowers.

Romantic

Happy Monday Everyone....................Housework day for me : ((

But I had to just pop on quickly to show you this card I made using the beautiful new Marianne Designable cut and emboss folder from FatCatsCardCarner.
I added two different sized scrunched paper flowers made with cream coloured paper edged with Memento Baby Pink ink, the punched roses were done with the same paper and edged with the ink.
A bow made with some old lace and topped with a glittery pink button sewn on.
I used the same lace down the side over the Swiss dots border embossing folder.

Tissue Paper Fower 2

Hi everyone, I'd made this card before going away and didn't get time to post it to my blog.

The frame was made with the Martha Stewart Garden Trellis border punch which Becca Feeken shared how to do on her beautiful blog.
My bow was made from a roll of gauze bandaging and the flower from Tissue wrapping paper.
Trish had asked on my previous tissue paper flower how I made my flower so I'll attempt to show how I did it below.

The inside of the card was stamped and heat embossed with Super fine detail embossing powder from Ranger and the stamp is from Stamp-It, the words are...........

The butterfly's attractiveness derives not only from colors and symmetry:  deeper motives contribute to it.  We would not think them so beautiful if they did not fly, or if they flew straight and briskly like bees, or if they stung, or above all if they did not enact the perturbing mystery of metamorphosis: the latter assumes in our eyes the value of a badly decoded message, a symbol, a sign.  ~Primo Levi

I hope I have left enough room above and below the quote for a personal message.

Here's how I made the tissue paper flower.

I then cut them with the Nellie Snellen Doily Multi frame, but you could use any die you have or just cut circles and use decorative scissors to give them a fancy edge.

Other dies I have used.

Next pierce a hole through the centre and add a brad, I added a punched big sky flake to the center.
Now we start scrunching each layer up around the brad.
Until all layers are done.
Then its time to start peeling them back down again, being very careful as the tissue paper is very delicate and tends to tear. Especially with this doily die, ask me how I know : ))
The finished flower.
I hope you were able to follow my instructions and have fun making Tissue Paper flowers.

Black and White

Good Morning.
My card I'm sharing with you today I made using several different Marianne Creatables Dies which you can purchase from FatCatsCardCorner.
First I made the background with a Fiskars Texture plate called Feathers and my cuttlebug, I then sponged over it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
The bird and swirls above and below the texture layer is the Folklore Birds die that I have cut and glued behind.
The Creatables tag has been stamped with a Ginak Design stamp and then left in the die and sponged around with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered it to the card with dimensional tape to pop it up off the background layer.
The leaves are the Leafy stem creatable and the flowers were made with the little flower die that comes with the Creatables Tag.
The little black birds are what was cut from the Folklore die that I used on the bottom and I just pushed them onto the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad to colour them.
To finish off I ran a small white ink pad around the edges of the finished card.
