Walk in the Park

Hello, I'm back today with another card I made for FAT CATS Card Gallery,

featuring the Marianne Creatable clear stamp HM9443 coloured with copics.

I have made a little scene by colouring the clouds with ink and a sponge dauber, badly executed grass with copics.

The gates I made with the Marianne Creatable Large Oval ( I love this beautiful die set).

The tree and fence are also Marianne Creatable Dies.

White Roses

Hi all, I forgot to show you this card the other day when I showed the Lilac Roses card. This one is made with the same die set and linen shimmer card which I cut with the Marianne Designable Anja's Flower 915

The Happy Birthday is a Marianne Design die and the bee are Memory Box.

Lahni's card

I've just found this in my drafts, it's the card I made for our Grand daughter Lahni's 10th birthday.

I experimented colouring the baking Tilda with only one coloured copic marker and the colourless blender instead of the three or more of a colour that you use for blending, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out although the photo doesn't really do it justice.

Lilac Roses

I'm back as promised.

This is one of two cards I made using the Marianne Creatables Branch and Flowers 1 die.

I also used the Xcut Flourish Scalloped Oval Embossing Folder with some lovely Linen shimmer card.
and the little bees are a die Memory Box Die with lavender liquid pearls for the bees trail.

Blog Deleted

It seems my blog disappeared there for a while, THANK YOU for letting me know Kaaren

I was working on the computer last Wednesday , and must have had my blog settings open, otherwise I can't work out how it could have happened, when Laddie decided he wanted to sit on my lap,( he is really too big to be doing this but we both enjoy the cuddle), anyway he slipped and there where doggie legs and feet going all over the keyboard, I didn't really pay too much attention to what was happening on the screen I was too busy making sure laddie was alright, he was no harm done to him.

I was able to get my blog back by going to my dashboard and seeing that I had 1 deleted blog, so no harm done there either.

I'll try to be a more regular Blogger and start by posting a card this afternoon.

Embossing folders as stamps

I have been been playing around with inks and things to make my own backgrounds.

One of the ideas I thought I would try is using my embossing folders as large stamps, I know you can ink them up in various ways and then insert your paper/card and then run it through your cuttlebug etc.

but I didn't want the embossing so just inked up the raised part of the embossing folder and then pressed my paper down onto it and was quite pleased with how it turned out.
