Although I haven't been posting very much, there have been quite a few cards made and below are two that I designed for Kaaren at Fat Cats Card Corner.
As usual the dies and products I used will be listed below the pictures of the cards.

Lace Edge Verity Rose Crafters Companion Die
Sue Wilson Laurel Leaves
Sue Wilson Happy Birthday
Sue Wilson Fantails embossing folder
Cheery Lynn Sweet William Strip

I started by cutting a Georgia die cut out and using it as a stencil and sponging shaded lilac distress ink around the edges of the background, then added that same stencil piece to the background and added a SW Bow and SW Orange Blossom leaves and flowers from the Cheery Lynn Chrysanthemum.

February cards.

I managed to make quite a few cards in February, there were a number of family birthdays, and Kaaren needed quite a few cards made for a craft show she was attending this weekend in Sydney.

The first one below was for my sisters 60th Birthday.

The dies I used were the Marianne Creatables Star XL and  Anja's Vintage Frame.
Flowers were made from the Cheery Lynn Gardenia Strip

This was a card for my youngest brother, I created the background with some distress inks and water
The bird is from Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamp Set.
Happy Birthday is Spellbinders Sentiments 3

For this very simple card I have used the feather stencil from the Bo Bunny Whimsy Stencil set, stenciling the feathers with ink.
I used one of the dies from the SW Australian Background to emboss the rectangle, the Happy Birthday is Spellbinders Sentiments 3.
A few random placed dots with Liquid pearls and some crystal adhesive gemstones coloured black with a marker.

This time I used molding paste on black card with the Bo Bunny feather stencil then added some glittery colour, and hand cut them out.
Sue Wilson Australian Background pieces also used.

I created the background on this card with the Bo Bunny Whimsy Stencil set, I first inked it with one pink ink rotated the stencil then added another pink ink.

Mystery Quilt Allietare, top is finished

Allietare quilt top is finished,
I have no idea how I am going to baste it as its quite large @ 205 cm x 245 cm and I don't have a floor space big enough to do it on, I could take it over to my daughter Kathy's house and do it there, but it's also the crawling around on the floor to do it that concerns me, I am already quite sore from basting a much smaller one yesterday, maybe I can get my two beautiful granddaughters to help me if  I get myself organised before they go back to school and university.
