For You

Hello, I'm here today with another card I made for FATCATS Card Corner.

I started by inking up one side of the Sizzix Bricked embossing folder then running it through my Cuttlebug,
Then did a second one and cut it to size for my raised garden bed which I popped up with two layers of dimensional tape.
Then just cut a couple of strips of card for the roof line and the top of the garden bed.
I then filled the garden with the Marianne Creatables leaves 4 LR0229 Die and some punched Martha Stewart leaves and some tiny flowers to which I added liquid pearls to the center.
I added a piece of Peel off waste to the cats neck for a collar and the lamp post has acetate behind the lamp for glass.
The butterflies are also a Martha Stewart punch.
The background paper is from Kaisercrafts Chanteuse Collection.

Thank you for visiting today I really appreciate you taking the time.

80th Birthday Bookatrix

John's (husband) Uncle John is turning 80 tomorrow so I made him a bookatrix card.
I kept it pretty simple by just cutting the numbers with a Fiskars template and the stars with a Fiskars squeeze punch some peel offs for the star trails and Star Dust stickles around the edge of the white book page.
I had to use glossy accents to get the white layer to stick to the Glitter card stock.

Thank you for taking the time to visit its very much appreciated.

Pontura and Liquid Pearls

Hello................
Nellie Snellen has a new product out, Pontura paints, stencils and card packs.
I have made two cards using the Baby Carriage PONK019 card set.

One for a girl using the Baby pink Pontura paint, some pink diamantes and Crafts Concepts Victorian Rectangles for the computer generated sentiment layer.

The border punch is a Fiskars one called Threading Water.

For this one I used the Marianne Designable Frame cut and emboss folder, cut out the center and glued some tulle between two of the frames layers I then used lavender and Lace and Hot cocoa Liquid pearls to the holes in the tulle.
The flowers were made with the Cheery Lynn large Rose Die (looks like Kaaren is out of stock on those) and the stamens are a Nellie Snellen Floral Punch.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

My first patchwork quilt

I have just finished making my very first patchwork quilt and I have to say I am quite pleased with it.
Most of the fabrics came from op shops and I used thicker wadding instead of batting which meant a bit of puckering/ bubbling with the very thin backing fabric when doing the quilting but with just a bit of unpicking it turned out okay.
The quilt block I used came from Ashley at FITF thank you Ashley I couldn't wait to try it out as soon as I saw it.

Here's hubby holding it out in the autumn sunshine for me.

Hearts, swirls and flowers for Kathy.

Stitching, copic coloured  Tilda and butterflies for Donna

Paper piercing, computer graphic, classic car and mirror tiles for Greg.

LOVE

My card today uses the Marianne Craftable Circle die which I've used for the frames
and the corners are Cheery Lynn Dies, it looks as though Kaaren is out of stock on both of these.

The design paper is from the Kaisercraft Vintage Timeless pad which I've distressed with antique linen.
The roses were made with the Marianne Creatable 6 petal rose die (also out of stock) and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Congrats...

Hello again everyone.

This is my latest card made with products from FatCatsCardCorner.

The gorgeous  image is from Elizabeth O. Dulemba's Colouring Page Tuesday free images and I've coloured her with copics, I then cut her out with a Craft Concepts Victorian Rectangles Die and using the same size die and drawing around it on the pink card cut it out by hand.
The flower circle is the Floral Oval Craftables Die and I've placed it over an oval cut with a Nestability and then ran it through the Swiss dots embossing folder.
I threaded some thin pink ribbon through the pretty white lace from my stash.
I'm afraid I don't know who the lovely background papers are by as they were a gift.

I've made the inside to match the front.

Thank you for taking the time to visit I really appreciate it.

Happy Birthday

Hello
I took some time out to do some colouring for my card today, something with which I need a lot more practice.

I coloured Tilda with Big Ribbon with copics and cut her out using the out of the box technique.
There are loads of tutorials out there for this.
The Happy Birthday is also a Creatable Die.
The butterflies are Cheery Lynns Exotic Butterflies .
The corner is Memory Box's Madera Corner (part of mine snapped off while using it in the Cuttlebug, very unhappy).
The paper used are from My minds Eye Ohh La La Paper pad.
Inking was done with the Antique Linen Distress Ink Pad.
The flowers I made with the medium Retro flower punch.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and leaving a comment,
I do so love hearing from you.

Cards For Men

Hello Everyone
I hope you all had a very enjoyable Easter and were able to spend it with family and friends.
Ours was quiet but did get to spend some quality time with daughter Kathy and granddaughters Chloe and Aimee.

Onto my cards...............
I was asked to make twenty cards as a prize for a raffle and to please include some cards for men.
Below are two that I have come up with.

I have used pre-coloured digital images from FredSheSaid and added dimensional magic to them (which unfortunately doesn't show up in the photo's) but it does make the images pop.
The plaid backgrounds where from a Paper Pizazz Jewel Plaids Booklet given to me by my friend Angie which are perfect for those cards for men, thank you Angie.
The striped background is a digital paper from SheryK Designs.
I'm afraid I don't know which die the branches are they were another gift from Angie.

The background on the card below is the Mesh Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Many thanks for stopping by today.

Wedding Card

A friends youngest son is getting married next month and she asked me to make a card for her to give to him.

I decided on a Bookatrix card and made a rose spray for one side, the roses I made with the Marianne Creatable 6 petal flower die, the leaves are Martha Stewart punches and I used the Marianne Craftable Envelope die for the other side.
The cake and wine glasses are from Paper Shaper punches.

Here it is in its box.

Thank you for taking the time to visit today.

Orchids

Has it really been nearly two weeks since my last post, where has that time gone?

The orchids I made for this card were designed by another on line friend, I wanted to place them into a layout that looked like a brides bouquet.
The corners and the little pink bits at the end of the flower spray are from the Cheery Lynn Lace Corner Deco B set.
The little envelope is a Marianne Craftable Die.
The embossed background I made by embossing the top half with the Couture Creations Victorian embossing folder and scoring the lines on the bottom with my Martha Stewart score board.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.
