Card for Pam

It's been quite a while since I have made a card, and since a neighbour was having a birthday I thought I should get to work and make her a card, this is what i came up with.

I made the background with some distress inks on some cheap water colour paper added a touch more colour with a stencil and some more distress ink.

The flowers I also made from the same water colour paper which I coloured with distress inks and cut out with the Cheery Lynn Gardenia Strip die.

Some new cards for Fat Cats Card Corner

I have some new cards to share with you, that I made for Kaaren at Fat Cats Card Corner.

I used the entire Sue Wilson - Swiss collection - Background to create the embossed background.
The Marianne Collectable COL1411 Doggy was cut and coloured and raised up with dimensional tape.
Flowers - Sue Wilson Christmas Rose.
Sentiment - Cheery Lynn
Wink of Stella added to the fur on his outfit

I used the tutti Designs - Frilly flower Frame I cut the die twice in white card and coloured one set of the flowers and layered them on top. I added some ribbon and flat backed pearls from my stash.

I have used the tutti Designs Bird Tapestry Die as well as the Tim Holtz piercing ruler and some ribbon and flat backed pearls from my stash.
Sentiment is from the Impression Obsession die set.
I cut the die once in white card then cut it again in thicker white card to give it a bit of dimension.

Friends

The group I belong to Penny Flowers Craft and Chat
had a card swap with a friendship Theme,
the criteria was, make a card with something that points to the meaning of FRIENDSHIP..

This is the card I made for my swap partner... good friends are like a comfy pair of PJ'S.

The stamp is Art Impressions "Girlfriends" which I coloured with copics.

The dies I used are the:
Poppy Stamps - Grand Madison French Doors
Marianne Creatables - Chair and Lamp
Cheery Lynn - Flourish leaf strip
Impression Obsession - Tiny Flowers
Impression Obsession - Layered Floral set
Memory Box - Typewriter - Uppercase.

A Baby and a Droid (Card)

I had a request for a baby card, sex of baby not known, which makes it difficult to come up with a colour scheme to use, the last one I did for the same lady I did in lemon so my choice this time was lavender.
I used a Nellie Snellen pontura card from which I cut the front and layered it onto the lavender card, white, lavender and finally the white card base.
The welcome banner is a Joy Crafts Die, the little flowers are from the mini EK Success Retro Flower Punch.

The next card request was for either a Star Wars or Ninja theme, I went for Star Wars and found an R2D2 colouring image on the internet which I coloured with my copics, I added some balloons cut with a free die that came with a craft magazine, the background is the Couture Creations Entangle embossing folder.

Thank you for looking.
