Flowers and Circles

Hi everyone.

I've got two cards to show you today that I designed for FatCatsCardCorner

For the red card I just cut the die cuts in half and layered them.
The sentiment was also cut with the die, cut from shrink plastic after stamping on the greeting.
The corner pieces were made by cutting the centre away from the diecut and cutting into sections to fit.
The flowers I made with a heart punch.

For my blue version I cut the centres out of the dies with a spellbinder classic circle and intertwined them by cutting through one of them.
I intend to hang a sentiment from the centre where they cross over when I can find one that fits
ALL the flowers were made from the other bits of the die that come with it.

It was light in the afternoon when I took the photo and I was having trouble getting a good shot
so I resorted to taking it under my desk light which shows up the lovely paper from the Kaisercraft 6½ inch Paper Pack Blae and Ivy.

Here it is without the light.

Thanks again for taking the time to visit today.

Classic Cars

Good Morning All.

Below are two cards I have made with the New Marianne Creatable Die Classic Cars.
The die set comes with two different dies but I have used the same one on both cards.

For this first one I popped the long sleek car up with dimensional pop dots,
The cuttlebug embossing folder is Mesh and the Spellbinders label is 21.
The sentiment layer is also labels 21 I have just cut off the circular parts.
The stars were punched with a Fiskars squeeze punch.
The shiny gold cardstock was very difficult to photograph its was like a mirror.

For this next one I used both the cars and embossed them onto the background and then inked over some antique linen distress ink.
The border punches used were  Fiskars Threading Water and Scalloped Sentiment and I've again popped the car up with dimensional dots and added some glitter with the Sakura Clear Star Pen.
The half circles were cut with Spellbinders Classic circles and just cut in half.

Thank  you for taking the time to Visit.

Lilac and White

Good Morning Bloggers

This is a simple little card I put together using the Marianne Designable Vintage cut and emboss folder.
I embossed it on some lovely lilac iridescent cad stock and placed a white piece behind, that has a punched border using the Martha Stewart Punch around the page set Cherish.
The leafy swirl is also a Cheery Lynn die the  Fanciful Flourish.
The flowers I just made up myself.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Exploding Box

                                                                      Hello Everyone.

We are going away to visit our son who will be turning 40, he lives in the beautiful Blue Mountains NSW, at the beginning of December and also to Grandson Billy's Primary School graduation, he lives in Ellerston NSW.

Anyway I'm madly trying to get all my Christmas gifts and cards made as well as a special 40th Birthday card and clear my table of unfinished projects.

Here is one of them, you may remember the dimensional bird cage I'd made with the Marianne Creatable Die,
well I decided to turn it into an exploding Box.

Here's a list of the products I used in making it.
Spellbinders Rose Creations.
Two step Bird punch Stampin-Up.
KindyGlitz, Crystalina

Tilda Running Christmas Version

Hello Everyone.

I love this stamp so much I had to colour another one, I chose to do her in red so I could turn it into a Christmas card.
After colouring Tilda in with copics I cut her out with Spellbinders Labels 21, I also used the same die set for the sentiment layer.
Also used was the Martha Stewart border punch double loops from the combo set.
The swirls are a Bosskut Die called Floral Flourish.
The little poinsettias are a Nellie Snellen Floral Punch set I glued in three small gold beads to the centre of each one.
The background papers are from the 6½ inch Kaisercraft paper pad Silly Season.

Thank you for visiting.

Tilda Running

Good Morning.

I won this sweet Tilda Running stamp from Bev's wonderful Blog.
She's coloured with copics, and so were the flowers in her basket, but then I decided to add the punched flowers and added some that where spilling out as well.
I used Spellbinders labels 21 for the layers behind the ovals.
The design papers are from the Kaisecraft 6 ½ pad Chapter One, the centre rose was also made from the same paper using the Marianne Creatable 6 petal flower die.
The white roses were made from the smallest of the Spellbinders Rose Creations Die set.
The butterfly sitting on Tilda's hand was made with the Spellbinder Shapeabillities Butterflies and shrink plastic.
The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and leaving a comment,
I love to hear from you

Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone.
A wee while time between blog updates, I'm sorry to say.

This is my latest card created for Kaaren at FatCatsCardCorner,
The cut and emboss frame is a Marianne Designable called Vintage, I've hand cut the centre out added a score line down either side with my Martha Stewart Score Board and inked all the edges with some dusky pink ink ( a small 1 inch Kaisercraft one called Fairy Floss).
I then layered this over a piece of the same card stock onto which I have stamped the sentiment from the Stamp-It set Wording with black Memento Ink and the dots stamp from the Stamp-It set with the same pink ink as the edging.
The roses I made from cream card stock and again inked with the Fairy Floss ink. I used the six petal flower Marianne Creatable die to make them using just the largest die.
The butterfly is a Spellbinders die and also cut from the same card stock and inked with the pink ink.

Thank you so much for visiting and please leave a comment, as I love to hear from you.
