60th Birthday

It's been awhile again since my last post I see, time does gets away from me.

I've had parts of this card on my work space for a while and have finally got it put together.
The birds are a Marianne creatable die from which I have cut the branch and leaves they are sitting on.
The bird cage is also a Marianne Creatable die which I love, I've given it a bit of shaping so its not sitting flat on the card.
The central ivory flower I made by folding quite a few ( sorry I didn't count them) layers of  waxed lunch wrap which I then ran through the cuttlebug with a scalloped die (jounaling block from quickkutz).
I then pierced a whole through the centre of them all and attached a brad, then I scrunched each layer of the waxed lunch wrap around the brad and then spread each layer out again, I was quite pleased with effect.
The small white flowers where also done with layers of lunch wrap sewn together with a small white bead.
The paper is a Christian Re Design.
The little book shapes are Spellbinders label 7.
