Dahlia fold Baby Dress

A group I belong to, PENNY FLOWERS - Craft & Chat was having a Baby Dress Card Challenge, I decided to go with a Christening type dress, after seeing this Image.

I  first drew a dress template, then cut it from some plain vellum, I then used a 1" circle  punch to cut some circles for the dahlia fold from some patterned vellum, after folding them, I glued them to the dress cutout with some Aileen' fast grab tacky glue, I put the glue only on the tips of the dahlia fold.

The butterflies a Martha Steward punch and roses are also made from some pink vellum and I used the Joy Crafts Roll up roses die to make them.

Leaves are the Sue Wilson Delicate Fronds.

The border is the Cheery Lynn Anastasia die.

Slider/Spinner Cards

I went back a revisited an old card style - the slider/spinner card - here are two I made.

The first one the dog spins and slides but on the second one I didn't want the  car to spin so I have added two sets of washes ( I use washers instead of coins) one near the front and one near the rear of the car  so that it just slides.

A little late I know, but here is an Easter card I made.

I used the Spellbinders Lovin' Diamonds, and thought it looked like a basket.

Wedding Bookatrix

 My sisters son was getting married and she asked me to make a bookatrix card for her to give to him.

I asked her if there was a colour she wanted me to use, she said red and when I asked her what colour red she sent me a photo of the flowers the bride would be carrying, so I created the bouquet to put onto the card.

I'm not very happy with the photos, my camera decided not to turn on any more, Canon replaced it, but with a different model, which I'm not happy with.

The country house image is a free one from Beccy's Place

  and I have coloured it with copics.
